Shelf-directed Packdown Routines
- Light Cloud Restocking Lister -
This routine is best used to collect a list of product facings
within a bay(s) that have room to accept more product. This is
done by using a Nadamoo (or equivalent) scanner and one's
personal phone. With the scanner linked to one's phone via
blue-tooth, and the phone on this webpage, the SKU codes on a
products price label can be captured and recorded with the press
of a button. Each time an price tag is scanned the counter
associated with the item will be incremented. This allows one to
quickly, and efficiently record the number of items needed to
fill a shelf. For instance, if an item's facing can accept three more items then
scanning the price label three times will indicate that.
Once a completed list is acquired, it can be saved by clicking
the "Save List" button.
Use the 'Restocking Sheet Selector' (below) to access any lists saved using this routine. [Last Updated: Oct 5, 2022] - Restocking Worksheet Selector - Initially, the program displays a date-sorted list of all the previous times the Restocking Lister was run. By pressing the 'Display List' button one gains access to an alphanumerically sorted list of SKUs acquired from the previous program. With the printed list in hand, an associate can systematically go through each item in the remote overhead bays and determine if that item is needed on the remote shelves by only looking on the sorted list where an item would be listed. If a SKU on the list is found in the overhead, then the associate need only indicate which aisle and bay the items was found, and how many items where found at that location in the spaces provided. In this way each unique SKU in the overhead is looked at only once, and only the two lines on the list closest to matching the overhead SKU need to be determined. [Last Updated: Nov 5, 2023]
- Restocking Worksheet Consolidator When the worksheet from the previous routine has been filled out, and items are found in more that two or three bays, the task of efficiently procurring the necessary items from the randomly listed overhead bays can be inefficient and error-prone. This program provides an online form that exactly matches the worksheet, but it allows one to transfer the handwritten data onto an online form. Once all the aisle, bay, and quantity data are entered from the worksheet the programs will display the information in a printable list sorted by aisle and bay. This final list makes downstocking much faster and easier to perform. [Last Updated: Oct 5, 2022]
